Overview about the Department of MetaBioHealth
The department of MetaBioHealth is dedicated to advancing thebiohealth field by integrating digital technologies and medical innovations. The program aims to produce global leaders in biohealth research and industry, emphasizing the convergence of ICT and medical science to improve human healthand longevity. The department of MetaBioHealth offers four specialized tracks: Digital Health & AI, focusing on AI-based diagnostics and medical big data; Advanced Biohealth, covering gene and cell therapies as well as cutting-edgebiotechnology; Precision Biohealth, targeting personalized treatments forcancer and rare diseases; and the BioHealth Industry Expert Track, preparingstudents for leadership in the biohealth industry. These tracks provide acomprehensive foundation in cutting-edge biohealth technologies andapplications, and collaborations with leading biohealth companies andinternational research institutions provide students with diverse careeropportunities.

The Department of MetaBiohealth aims to nurture future leaders who will pioneer the next generation of biohealth by integrating cutting-edge ICT, digital technologies, and medical science. In response to the paradigm shift brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, our goal is to go beyond traditional biohealth—centered on pharmaceuticals and medical devices—and advance toward "MetaBiohealth," which enables true health promotion and longevity.
